About Weybridge Piano Studio
Music has been part of my life from an early age. I began piano lessons at four years old and grew up in a family of piano teachers spanning several generations.
Today I teach students of different ages and abilities, offering individual lessons tailored to each student’s interests, goals and musical development.
Students may learn for enjoyment, examinations, performance or longer-term study.
Musical Background
My earliest lessons were with a teacher named Miss Bell, whose kindness and enthusiasm left a lasting impression on me.
Later, I studied with my great aunt Ruth, the matriarch of our family’s piano teaching tradition, whose influence continues to shape my approach today.
I also had the opportunity to study with James Young, a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and member of the contemporary piano ensemble Piano Circus.
These experiences, together with growing up within a family of teachers, have contributed to the teaching approach I bring to Weybridge Piano Studio today.
