Jack Skelland passes ABRSM Grade 3
Jack Skelland passes ABRSM Grade 3

Recently, I received an email inquiry that kicked off with,

"I am a total beginner, I cannot read music and I am old"

We had an absolutely delightful first lesson, and I discovered this person is full of energy, has nimble fingers, is a quick learner, and is... 82 years young!

This same month, I also had the pleasure of a first lesson with a bright 5-year-old.

I find this incredibly exciting and inspiring! So many people think that if they didn't start when they were a small child, there's no point. But in reality, I have numerous adult students who gain immense satisfaction from learning and make remarkable progress. They tend to practice with such dedication!

So, whether you're 5 or 85, does it really matter? Music can be something that challenges, engages, and stretches you in countless ways.
